December 6, 2010: A budding designer in India will soon have the good fortune to represent the country at the "Fashion Week in Japan (JFW).
Fashion Design Council of India (FDIC) has announced the names of the four shortlisted budding designers, who have stepped forward to represent the country in the Collection of Designers of Asia "in Japan.
Japan prom dresses Fashion Week, the collection "The designers of Asia has a prominent role in what will be a wonderful opportunity for a designer to represent India. The 'Asian Designers Collection Committee has shortlisted four names of 25 entries. The mega event with the participation of 11 major nations of Asia, including China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines.
JFW The event aims to promote cultural exchanges between designers coming in Asia. In 2009, Nitin Bal Chauhan, and in 2010, Ritesh Kumar Ridzyn were the lucky ones who represented the country in this event.
The four lucky finalists are Jai designers Gaurav Gupta, Ajit Kumar, evening dresses Ghosh and Divya Neelanjan and Nidhi Gambhir.
FDCI president Sunil Sethi said the names of these designers formal dresses and congratulated them on reaching this level. Sethi added that a designer will hopefully be part of this internationally renowned event and improving the designer's creative ability. This will also give
