So my boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me about a month ago...  I was testing him to see if he would cheat on me with someone online.  I created a screen name and instant messaged him with it, I had done this for almost 2 years.  Call me someone who has a low self esteem or whatever you want, but my ex had contacted girls online before and was trying to hook up with them.  So I messed up by instant messaging him with the other id and he instantly knew it was me! He was pissed off and logged off, he messaged me the next day and said he couldn't believe i did that to him and couldn't trust me anymore and we should go our separate ways.

I have tried to get back with him but he tells me he still cares about me and we can only be friends.  I told him I still loved him and cared about him and asked if he could give me another chance and forgive me.  He said he could not forgive me and please move on.  My heart broke and I started crying for a few days now,I even missed 3 days of work.  I am so depressed...
