I've been working my butt off to keep the bills paid and the house clean and little man entertained! Today seemed like it was going to be an excellent day! I had extra money, I was in a good mood and I was so happy with life. but then I'm driving to work and my car starts acting weird! Everytime I would stop at a stop sign or a red light my car would start sputtering and act like it didn't want to accelerate. I just figured it was having a moment and continued driving to work. I got to work, worked for a few hours and then when I tried to start my car to go home it started and then immedieately died. My co workers tried to jump it off and that didn't help.
Let me back track a little bit: I have horrible luck with cars. If you've read my old posts then you know that about 8 months ago my car was doing a similiar thing. I had no job and no way to fix it. Of course, that time W and I ended up getting back together and then I got a job. I ended up spending $650 to get the fuel pump and rack and pinion (No clue lol) fixed on my car. Then a few weeks after I got it fixed I hit a deer and totaled it!!! I got a newer car with low miles that had everything I wanted in a car and I've had no problems with it except the heater didn't blow out hot air, just warm air.
But anyways.... After an hour of waiting, my sister arrives to pick me up... of course the tow truck hasn't arrived yet so we wait for another 45 minutes. The tow truck driver is also a mechanic. He informs me that he is 75% sure my fuel pump went out. OMG... !!! I spent $70 on a tow from my job to the mechanic which was about 60 miles, and now I'm looking at $350 for a fuel pump!!! I make about $350 to $500 a week working about 25 hours.. but I have a ton of bills. I have loans out everywhere so I can't take out anymore of those. I don't even have a vehicle to get to work now! I am so frustrated with myself! When I got the fuel pump replaced in my last car, my mechanic specifically told me that I caused it to go out because I didn't keep a quarter of gas in it at all times.. I always let it get to E before I would get gas... He told me when I got my new car to make sure I kept gas in it because they were basically the same car. (The old car was a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, and the new car is a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT) Of course, I assumed that since this was car was newer it could handle being below a quarter of a tank... lol I am so dumb! I need to learn to listen!
So like always, whenever I think thinsgs are getting better and I am doing well, things like this happen. If W was around he would have been able to help me. It's time like these when I really consider letting him come back.

Things never stay bad just like things never stay good. It always has to change because change is constantly happening. Its seems to me that even as a strong woman we still feel that desire to be rescued. We want our knight in shining armor to ride in on his white horse and fix our car lol So I'm sending a prayer for you hoping that god will help you be happy and strong until your new knight appears :)0 points
